Risky Business

Kirstin Gillon, Technical Manager of the IT Faculty at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), was in Cyprus in October, where she had contacts with government officials on cyber security issues, addressed university students, and spoke at an event on Managing Risk in a Digital World. She also talked to Gold about how companies need to deal with such risks and how the so-called digital economy is affecting the accounting profession in both positive and negative ways.
