RCB Bank has been awarded the prestigious Best Bank in Cyprus distinction at the 2015 Global Banking & Finance Awards, as announced on October 29.
Organised by The European, one of Europe’s most prominent publications, the Global Banking & Finance Awards are an institution in recognising the best banks on the world’s banking scene.
Presenting the award during a special event at the Presidential Palace to mark RCB Bank’s 20th anniversary, the Business Editor in Chief of The European Mercedes Amezola said the aim of the Global Banking & Finance Awards was to recognise the leading financial institutions from around the world, those that excel not only regionally but also globally.
“And RCB Bank is among them, by fulfilling all the criteria that our awards team look for: leadership, excellence, innovation, trust, responsibility, transparency and corporate social responsibility,” she said.
According to the Cyprus Mail, RCB CEO Kirill Zimarin underlined the Bank’s prudent model that led to it becoming one of the largest banks in Cyprus with branches across the country and offices in Luxembourg, Moscow and London.
“Twenty years since our founding, we stand here tonight proud of our sound and profitable results but also for securing our client’s best interests, for our expansion in the Cyprus market and for servicing clients from more than 50 countries.”
