Commission Approves Paphos Sausage as PGI

The European Commission has approved the inclusion of two new products in the registry of Protected Geographical Indications (PGI).
 
According to a press release, for Cyprus the new addition is the “Pafitiko Loukaniko”, a sausage of minced pork matured in dry red wine, made in the area of Paphos.
