Michael’s Hotels Apartments in Larnaca has recently been purchased by a Canadian businessman who is planning to invest €5-6 million in transforming it into one of the most luxurious boutique hotels in Cyprus.
In the renovated hotel, 58 hotel rooms will be created as well as three independent two-floor suites. It will also feature conference rooms, a restaurant, a gym and a spa.
The project has been taken over by scp architects engineers and the necessary studies have been conducted in order to acquire the required licenses from the authorities. According to InBusiness News, the renovation plans are expected to begin in the first trimester of the next year in order to start operating before the summer season of 2017.
Apart from the Kimon project which will be created by Lanomex Development in collaboration with the Municipality of Larnaca, Swiss and Arab businessmen have shown interest in investing in the town and particularly in the tourist sector.
