WISTA Cyprus has announced that its President, Despina Panayiotou Theodosiou, has been elected as the new Secretary of WISTA International.
The elections took place during the 35th WISTA International Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Conference that was hosted in Istanbul, Turkey, from 07 to 10 October 2015 and was attended by 250 delegates from 34 countries.
Following the elections, the new Executive Committee of WISTA International is as follows:
President: Karin Orsel, Netherlands
Secretary: Despina Pan. Theodosiou, Cyprus
Treasurer: Rachel Lawton, UK
Member: Jeanne Grasso, USA
Member: Katerina Stathopoulou, Greece
Member: Sanjam Gupta, India
Member: Naa Densua Aryeetey, Ghana
Furthermore, during the AGM, the collective Personalities of WISTA Hellas won the Personality of the Year Award.
Panayiotou Theodosiou is the Chief Financial and Operating Officer of the Tototheo Group and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber.
