Dr Alexandros Charalambides, Assistant Professor at the Department of Environmental Science and Technology of the Cyprus University of Technology has been re-elected to the Board of Directors of the International Solar Energy Society (ISES).
An international non-profit UN-accredited membership NGO founded in 1954, ISES has a long history of acting as the trusted global advisor on renewable energy. The Society works to achieve 100% renewable energy for all, used efficiently and wisely, by providing the global renewable energy community with a collective, scientifically credible voice and up-to-date information gathered and synthesized by its talented members.
During the new 2016-2017 term for which Dr Alexandros Charalambides has been re-elected, he will work for the promotion of entrepreneurship in the solar academic community, aiming for a better penetration of research-based products to the global market.
